Alpine privacy

Effective October 9, 2026

Alpine is a free browser demo from Colossum Studios. This page covers what the game and its scoreboard keep about you. It adds to the Colossum Studios privacy policy, which covers our other services.

Playing

You can play without an account. The game sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser remembers the last initials you entered, on your device only. Amazon Web Services hosts the game, and like any web host it handles your IP address to deliver the pages.

Posting a run

Posting is optional. When you post a finished run, we store:

To stop floods of posts, the scoreboard counts posts per network address. It counts by a scrambled form of your IP address, which stays in the server's memory for about an hour and is never written down. Our server logs keep the run's id, course, time and any error, never your address.

Your email, if you add it

You can add an email address to a run. We keep it so that you can claim your scores later, when Colossum accounts arrive and you sign in with that email. We never sell it, never use it for marketing and send no email to it. It is stored apart from the public board, and the board never shows it. Only players 13 or older may add an email.

How long we keep it

Runs and boards stay as long as the game runs. An email stays until you ask us to delete it.

Deleting your email

Write to support@colossum.io from that address, or name it in your message, and we will delete it and its links to your runs. Tell us every spelling you used, because we match addresses exactly. Your initials and times stay on the board, with nothing that ties them to you.

Changes

We will post any change on this page with a new effective date.
